Lighting's gunblade from Final Fantasy XIII! I've cosplayed her last year at Anime North and that one was the first prop my dad and I made. This one is the 4th commissioned one we've made this year. Super happy with all the improvements since the a year ago.

ReplyDelete@Natasha This one was a bit tough to make. You should get as many reference pictures as you possibly can and sketch out the different layers in the gunblade.
ReplyDeleteIn the center layer, make it out of something hard. PVC or wood is good. Then work your way outwards. I used plastic, carved wood and foam boards to do the details.
